Drinks Anyone?

So, the other night I went out after work to socialize at a little loungy place in Provo. My friend and I decided we would order some fancy drinks while we were waiting for our other friends to arrive. Once we got our drinks we anticipated greatly the joy of a myriad of pleasant flavors. Only to say that upon the first sip, we were not greatly pleased, in fact they were not very good at all!! When the waiter came by to ask us how we liked everything, my friends said oh it's great. And then I chimed in actually we didn't really like them.
The Point. .
Some people upon sipping the undesirable drink would have called the waiter over and said. . .I don't like this, or something along those lines. Now, me and my friend did not only dislike our drinks but we drank the entire thing, and went on to tell the waiter that we liked the drinks.
Then it clicked. There are two types of people in this world, those who take it and those who send it back.
This is but a shadow of the rest of me and my friends existence. We may, for example, want something more or different in a relationship. We may be unhappy with our current circumstance, but we just smile and try to enjoy what we have instead of taking to get action for what we really want.
I know I have fallen into this category more than my share of times. Now, if you can imagine, there are those people who actually ask, speak up. . . etc.
My question is. . .who is happier ? and if you just take what you get. . is there a way to change?

Holly... do you remember when Sherri Dew came to speak to us at the MTC. If you don't I can give you the full notes, but you should dig those out and re-read them. She talked "something better" Don't settle... Heavenly Father has amazing blessings in store for you, so don't feel limited... his blessings are limitless and beyond our wildest dreams. So Dream big, pray, ask, search for something better!!!!
Plus, sometimes when you don't speak up even about something as simple as drink, that restauraunt will continue serving poorly made drinks to others... if you speak up maybe it will cause them to re-think the recipe and try something new... something even better! Plus you could have saved your self a few bucks, and spared yourself of having bad aftertaste in your mouth.
